From farm to fork – via factory: International Meat Sector Conference
International leaders and representatives of the meat industry will discuss topics that are of fundamental importance to the industry. Topics to be discussed will include the food of the future in the context of rapidly changing consumption patterns, the political landscape and its implications for the meat sector in the context of the implementation of the Green Deal and from farm to fork strategies, the importance of trade in a post-COVID world, and the challenges of the pork sector in the ASF era.
The UECBV/YEMCo and Polish Meat Association conference will start on Monday, 4 October 2021, and will focus on the above challenges. Participants of the event will have the opportunity to listen to distinguished experts. The UECBV conference will also feature roundtable discussions with speakers and recognised experts from the meat industry, to whom participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and present their views. During the gala dinner, which will take place on the same day, i.e. 4 October 2021 at 6 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to taste Polish dishes and experience well-known Polish hospitality.
UECBV Annual General Meeting
The second day, Tuesday 5 October 2021, will be devoted to technical meetings of the UECBV working groups, and we will also invite everyone to take part in a tour of the Polagra 2021 trade fair accompanied by our guide.
